Baby Donkey

I had a photo of this little donkey with the mother and father when she was just born and still wet, a month ago .http://nilelife.blogspot.com/2009/08/blog-post_1948.html when she saw me coming into the field he broke his tether and ran over to greet me. thats what we think! They are just curious first thing he did was sniff the camera
after a bit of a stroke and a photo session and a cuddle, off he ran back to mum.
so fluffy, its a good job it was to big to pick up, or it would be in my flat, its also still being weaned.

love them hairy ears

Hello Anthony, glad to meet you, especially on donkey day. I cared for the donkeys at Heifer Ranch, Arkansas, during my own volunteer years.
I look forward to learning more about Egypt here.
Yes, fresh St. Peter's fish is the best!
A baseball camp?! What happened to the Village? I visited it once long ago.

Dina,
The camp as it was is still there but much of the farm land has been taken over for building supermarkets and what not. they still have the orange grove area, but its not looked after so well as it should be. but thats modernization for you. last time i was there I had to fix the large crack that appeared in the swimming pool. caused by the roots of that large rubber tree. and of course taking that down would be a big problem.
